About

A public shelf for the research I keep coming back to.

I wanted to learn, but I didn't know what to search for. So I built a small discovery feed that does the looking. Every morning it pulls papers around a handful of themes (chaos, entropy, memory, meditation, micro ecosystems, and whatever those lead to) from OpenAlex (opens in a new tab), a free, open index of scientific research. A small AI model on my own computer writes one plain sentence about each.

I mark what's interesting, skip what isn't, and the feed learns. Themes get stronger when I engage with them and fade when I don't. It suggests new ones along the way.

What I keep goes into a library, where I rank it and write down my own take. This site shows the part of that library I've chosen to publish, ordered by how highly I rank each paper and how often I go back to it.

The one-line and three-line summaries are machine-written from abstracts and can be wrong. Every entry links to the original paper. The notes marked “My take” are mine.
